I am a big geek at heart and Game of Thrones is one of my favourite TV Shows. We also love the work done by Belfast Attractions who do tours of the filming locations over in Northern Ireland. You can find original painted canvasses of Jon Snow, Tyrion and Khal Drogo, or alternitvely you can pick up a Game of Thrones inspired printed card of Ygritte, Ned and Catelyn and a whole host of your favourite characters!

Notes from the artist
One of my great loves is Game of Thrones. I started watching the TV show when the first season premiered, mainly because of Sean Bean. I hadn't read any of the books, or read anything about the series on the Internet, and so was completely unaware of what it was going to be about. After my husband and I watched the first episode we were hooked!
The show was unlike anything we had seen before, with big production values, set in the fantasy land of Westeros. All of the characters were completely different and in episode 9, when the twist came at the end, I was completely shocked. That wasn't the biggest moment of the season though. As a dragon enthusiast (I've got a big dragon tattooed on my upper back) when Daenerys emerged from the fire at the end of season one, and revealed her three newly born dragons, I made a sort of shrieking noise, looked at my husband with a big grin on my face and could only say one word, 'Dragons!'.
As the seasons have come and gone, my love for the show has intensified. It's the highlight of my year and I feel a void between the months of June and March, which can only be partly filled by watching past episodes as I wait for the new season to begin! I've visited the places where they film the show, I've dressed up as my favourite characters in cosplay, I've been to the conventions, seen the exhibit, sat in the Iron Throne, and been to the Season 5 Premiere. Through my artwork I try to capture some of my love for the show so fellow geeks and Game of Thrones fans can display their own affections!
